My makeup favourites this month consist mainly of base products: I've been mixing Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum with Rimmel Match Perfection to make my favourite foundation - not too dewy, not too matte but just glowy enough to look healthy and still provide good coverage. Before applying these, I've returned to using my Seventeen Flawless Poreless Primer as it really does minimise pores (which has been essential this month!). My last makeup favourite is my new tube of Max Factor False Lash Effect Waterproof in Black/Brown as it's my all-time favourite mascara, but is only released in free gift boxes. I love having a new tube as it's an everyday basic.
I bought a new cleanser this month too - Superfacialist Vitamin C+ Brighten Cleansing Oil. It smells divine, removes makeup amazingly and I think it'll last a while as I've barely used any and it's been an everyday staple for over three weeks!
My hair has been thanking me for my weekly use of the Pantene Smooth and Sleek Mask as it adds moisture, hydration and stops me having so many flyaways, as well as making my hair feel super soft, and stay straight for more days.
Fashion favourites include bohemian dresses with black boots, my brown fedora and these new white double-layer Birkenstock-esque sandals! They look cute with everything!
I've been listening to a few new bands this month including Lights (the Siberia Acoustic version of 'Banner' is a new obsession for me!), Tonight Alive and Orla Gartland (especially 'Lonely People').
Other favourites for me include @daily_dose_of_pugs on instagram (so adorable!!), Ingrid Nilsen's Coming Out video (I've seen it about 6 times and still cry every time!) and Scandal - I cannot get enough of this series!
My June has been amazing - I was on holiday in Spain at the start which was brilliant, hosted a dance workshop at my school, saw my best friends perform in my sister school's adaptation of Spamalot! and was thrilled to witness another amazing step towards equality between sexualities in the USA!
How was your June?
Love, E X
