Winter Hot Chocolate "Recipe" Using Aero Hot Chocolate

Today I'll be showing you my method for making fool-proof hot chocolate from a few ingredients including aero hot chocolate, my personal favourite. You will need: a mug, aero hot chocolate, milk, squirty cream, a spoon, marshmallows (opt.)

And some music, of course.

Boil your kettle. Put 4 teaspoons of powder into the mug.

Pour a small amount of milk into the mug.

Mix the milk and powder to  create a smooth paste.

Add the water and stir... see how amazingly bubbly it is!

Add your squirty cream generously and finish with marshmallows or some grated chocolate.

Mmm... I need one of these right now. I'm off to the kitchen, how about you?

PS I'm sorry if you don't have any hot choc powder in your home at the mo; this muts have been torture. xxx

November Empties | Products I've Used Up #4

I cannot believe that my last empties was in AUGUST! I've used up a few more products since then so here they are:

Haircare

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Tone Refreshing Conditioner - I liked this conditioner, but it didn't wow me, moisturise my hair any better than others I've tried or refresh the tones in my blonde hair.
Repurchase? - No.

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Highlight Activating Moisturising Shampoo and Condtioner - I liked these, as you can see in my review, but they were not amazing.
Repurchase? - No, unless on a really good offer/discount.

Pantene Pro V Aqua Light Hair Mask - A Poundland find, this detangled my hair well and left it smooth and silky, though I did need to use a lot.
Repurchase? - Not anytime soon, unless I find it in Poundland again!

Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo - A firm favourite in the haircare category for my dad and I; he goes through the huge cans quicker than I do!
Repurchase? - always

Pantene Pro V Hairspray Grade 4 for Thick Hair - This hairspray left my hair set, but a little crispy. The smell was quite overpowering too.
Repurchase? - No.

L'Oreal Elnett Hairspray - Featured in my 'Products Not Worth The Hype' post, I explained how it was good, but not worth the HG status it has to some people.
Repurchase? - No, unless on an amazing offer.

Skincare

Botanics Cleansing Balm - I love this calming balm for cold winter evenings as it removes makeup and cleanses beautifully.
Repurchase - already have a backup for when my second runs out!

Garnier Eye Makeup Remover - This is my second or third one of these - it removes eye makeup with ease and doesn't break me out!
Repurchase? - forever... or until I find something better!

Superdrug Naturally Radiant Renewing Night Cream - This night cream thouroughly impressed me as it moisturised and kept me with a radiant glow.
Repurchase? - Yes, when my current night cream runs out

Simple Soothing Toner - I like this as it's alcohol free and very soothing - a great first toner.
Repurchase? - Not now I'm on the AHA bandwagon, but I have a spare for sunny holidays!

B.Pure Micellar Water - As you can see, I enjoyed this makeup remover a lot and it is as good as the L'Oreal.
Repurchase? - Yes, when I finish my L'Oreal depending on what's on offer.

Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturiser - I love this, defo a HG product, as it clears my skin and works great as a spot treatment too!
Repurchase? - always, as I need it!

Miscellaneous

Soap and Glory Clean On Me Shower Gel - This lasted me about 8 months! I just bought one for my BBF Eleni's birthday as I love it so much!
Repuchase? - another S+G one, defo!

Natural Collection Pressed Powder in Neutral - As you can see, this cracked, but I had a back up so no worries! This is my favourite everyday powder as it's cheap, not cakey and lasts a while.
Repurchase? - yes, when my next one runs out!

Tissues - I go through tissues like crazy, it seems I forever have a cold!
Repurchase? - well, I need to blow my nose!

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub - I liked this, as the particles were big and gritty, but I think it's a little overpriced!
Repurchase? - No, I prefer 'The Scrub of Your Life'

NYC Showtime Waterproof Mascara - I love the showtime mascaras for a cheap everyday lash look.
Repurchase? - Yes, sometime in the future.

Simple Brightening Wipes - I like these as much as all the other wipes I've tried, but I didn't notice any brightening effects.
Repurchase? - Yes, when on offer.

L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Pearl Powder in Rose Radieux Review

When I saw this gorgeous powder in Boots, I knew I had to pick it up - the gorgeous shimmery powder with the most beautiful pattern on it tempted me and I was soon parting with my cash at the checkouts. However, this L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Pearl Powder in Rose Radieux was at first a disappointment - the shimmer was just an overspray and when I swirled my brush, I was left with a nude, skin toned powder with a shot of pink in the centre.
It was only on my second attempt I fell in love - it mattifys but leaves a healthy glow to the skin! I'm in love and it works amazing on dry skin days.
For £8.99 I can justify the purchase of another powder - just don't be fooled that it's a highlight!

November Random Favourites | MOVIES, FASHION, ETC

After yesterday's beauty favourites, I thought I'd show you my random favourites!

Of course, I had to include my RACOON HAT! I swear this has been in about every post since I recieved it a week ago! I love it so much, it keeps me snuggly and although my friends laugh I love it! A Curly Wurly is my preferred chocolate treat in the colder months as you can make it last longer (cold caramel - chewy heaven!). I gave these out in class and everyone loved theirs (apart from the braces gals, who got chocolate buttons!). For a movies of choice, Horrible Bosses is a real laugh. Although there may be a load of rude language, the whole film together is hilarious and a real sleepover essential!

For apps, I've been reading and watching all the backstage gossip on the X Factor app (the Luke Attenborough video had me in fits!). For music, Ellie Goulding's 'How Long Will I Love You' has been on the iPod all the time, as well as 'Hey There Delilah' by the Plain White T's - god, I love that song no matter how old it is!

November Beauty Favourites | Rimmel, Clean & Clear, L'Oreal and more!

Happy December everybody! I had an amazing November and am really excited to show you my favourites so let's get started!

I've been buying a few haircare bits recently so I'll begin with those. The Pantene BB Creme has been working wonders, smoothing flyaways and softening my ends - I apply it when my hair is wet then just before I style it. A repurchase was the Tresemme Liquid Gold Oil - I had this a couple of months ago but ran out, so I repurchased and my hair has been thanking me - it makes it soooo soft and silky! I had exams last week (eek!) so, without becoming too OTT, the Mitchum Unscented Deodorant came in very handy! My skin is really playing up at the moment and I have a lot of blemishes, so I've cut my routine back to the things I know really work for me - the Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturiser is one of my holy grail products as it clears up my skin quickly - I use it as a daytime moisturiser and before my night cream as a serum-esque step. An actual serum I have been using has been the Balance Hylauronic Serum which helps with hydration, and I have noticed a difference in my skin when I do and don't use this.

Makeup! I've been sticking to the same kind of thing every day and night out this month due to my living on the sofa so these are the best of what I love. The Garnier Miracle Blur Primer has been smoothing out the acne I've been getting and keeping my makeup lasting, as well as two fab powders. The Look Stay Put Powder is great for everyday wear as it keeps me matte and controls the oil I have been getting around my blemishes and the L'Oreal Radiance Powder has been making me gorgeous and glowy for nights out. To conceal my terrible breakouts, the Kiko Full Coverage Concealer in 01 has been working a treat whilst still keeping everything natural. Then to add a bit of glamour, the L'Oreal Infallible in Bronze Goddess has been my eyeshadow of choice - so sparkly, so easy to apply!

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks Review | Loved and Glossed Gift Set | Bashful, Nudist, Fuchsia-ristic, Plum Jam

I love Soap and Glory's bodycare, skincare and makeup - they always have the best gift sets at Christmas. For my birthday I recieved this 'Loved and Glossed' set which contained the original 3 shades of their Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks for £16 (same as a 3 for 2 - each costs £8). It is a fab gift set if you already love these or just want to try a few new glossy shades!

So, what do I think of the gloss sticks? For one, I already owned the shade 'Bashful' when asking for the gift set as I loved the formula and wanted more shades. The colour payoff is similar to a revlon lip butter - it's buildable but sheer at first. They're not overly uncomfortably sticky but if you apply too much they can be. The colour selection is pretty good, and for £8 you can't beat them!

Bashful - a baby pink
Nudist - a brown-toned nude
Fuchsia-ristic - a bright pink with orange tones
Plum Jam - a plum-berry toned pink

Have you tried these? What is your fave soap and glory makeup product?
